About the artist(s):
As a teen sparked by a basement punk show in West Philadelphia, Gregory Kramer was inspired to explore music through various iterations, eventually connecting it with his passion for art. As a child he played piano, and later gravitated toward guitar. Through guitar, he was drawn to noisier styles and investigated other forms of sound making. He currently composes and performs with field recordings, found materials, and electronics and also builds electronic sound devices, often from repurposed materials. As a recording artist, he has been in numerous publications including The Wire, Pitchfork, Signal to Noise and Decibel.
