Hilary Norcliffe was born in England, raised in Canada, and now lives in Long Beach, California. She was raised on weekly piano lessons, but now prefers playing in dumpsters. Her new "instruments" are one of her latest moves to break down boundaries between art and life.

Barbecue grill replaced with tune-able steel strings. Sounds terrible. Visitors can pluck with picks or fingers, or tap with sticks. Sound might get lost in a very open area, but near to a structure it'd be fine. Electronic sound guys might like to collect sounds from it.
